Home Visits Policy — Carl Argent Counselling and Coaching

To ensure a safe and therapeutic environment during home visits, please agree to the following conditions:

1. Assessment & Suitability Home visits are offered at my discretion following an initial risk assessment. I reserve the right to withdraw the home visit service and move sessions online or to a therapy room if I feel the home environment is no longer suitable.
2. Suitable Environment You are responsible for providing a private, confidential room for our sessions with all entrances closed.

• Privacy: We must not be overheard or interrupted by other household members.
• Distractions: Please ensure pets are secured in another room and televisions/radios are turned off prior to my arrival.
• Preparation: Please be ready to start at the agreed time. I will arrive at the scheduled start time and leave promptly at the scheduled end time.

1. Safety & Conduct My safety is paramount. I reserve the right to terminate the session immediately and leave the premises if:

• I feel unsafe or threatened.
• There is anyone else present in the room who refuses to leave.
• You appear to be under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.

In such instances, the full session fee will be charged.
