Executive coaching.
Think clearly. Lead deliberately.
A decision keeps circling. A conversation needs to happen. Responsibility is leaving little room to think. Executive coaching gives you focused space to examine the situation, prepare a response and test a next step that fits your role and values. Start with a free 30-minute conversation. In Southend-on-Sea and online across the UK.

Bring a real leadership challenge.
Choose a current situation where a clearer decision or different response would make a difference. We work with your responsibilities, relationships and organisational context.
A difficult conversation
Clarify the issue, the relationship and the outcome you want. Prepare your message and practise responding to disagreement.
A decision under pressure
Separate facts, assumptions and competing priorities. Examine the trade-offs and identify the next information or action you need.
Moving into leadership
Explore the shift from doing the work yourself to supporting others. Choose a delegation or communication change to test.
Responsibility that is taking over
Look at demands, boundaries and recovery. Identify what you can change, influence or ask for support with.
Use your strengths with judgement.
We explore the strengths you already draw on, identified with my Strengths Across Life Profile, and how their usefulness changes with the situation: a strength overplayed is often the problem. We also consider motivation, working relationships, meaning and achievement, alongside the energy needed to sustain your role. Each session ends with your Next Step plan for the fortnight (what you want, the best thing about it, the inner obstacle and what you will do when it appears), and we review progress against where you started.
Strengths in context
For example, perseverance may help you deliver, while overusing it can make it hard to stop or delegate. We explore when to persist, when to step back and what another strength could offer.
A practical structure
We agree a focus, examine the challenge, use a relevant exercise or rehearsal and choose an action. You can expect attentive listening, thoughtful questions and an honest review of what happens.
Delegating without taking everything back.
Suppose you keep redoing a colleague’s work and your own priorities are slipping. We could explore what you are protecting: quality, reliability, reputation or something else.
Understand the pattern
Look at expectations, the colleague’s experience and your assumptions about responsibility. Identify what needs a clear agreement.
Prepare an experiment
Choose one task, define what a good result looks like and agree a check-in. Practise the conversation and decide where you can allow a different approach.
Review its effect
Discuss what happened to quality, trust and your workload. Refine the approach from that evidence. This is an example of the coaching process, not a client case study.
Work with the person, not just the performance.
I am an Association for Coaching Accredited Coach with training in Positive Psychology and a background as an integrative counsellor. We can take self-doubt, relationships and organisational pressures seriously while keeping the agreement focused on coaching. If therapy or other specialist support would fit better, we can discuss that openly.
My presence is calm, curious and engaged. I listen closely, ask questions that help you examine assumptions, and offer exercises where they serve your goal. You decide what fits, and we review what actually happens when you try it.
We can use a decision exercise, strengths reflection or conversation rehearsal where it helps. The purpose is to develop your own thinking and response within the reality of your role.
Start with a conversation. Agree the scope before committing.
Self-funded executive coaching starts from £150 for 75 minutes. You can discuss one focused session before deciding whether further work would help. We agree the fee, focus and confidentiality boundaries before you commit. Sessions are available online across the UK or in Southend-on-Sea.
This service focuses on leadership responsibility and organisational context. Company-sponsored work is quoted separately, including any stakeholder involvement and administration. We agree what the organisation may receive, what stays private and the limits of confidentiality before work begins.

Questions about executive coaching.
Who is executive coaching for?
The work can support established leaders, founders and people moving into greater responsibility. You might want space for a difficult decision, a changing role or the effect that leadership pressure is having on you. We agree a focus that reflects your actual context.
What if my employer pays for coaching?
We agree the purpose, fee, confidentiality limits and any reporting before coaching starts. The employer’s involvement does not give them access to private session content. Any agreed sharing needs clear boundaries understood by you and the organisation.
Is executive coaching advice or therapy?
Coaching supports your reflection and decisions; it does not take responsibility for business, legal or financial decisions. If emotional distress needs a different kind of attention, we can discuss that openly. Read about my professional background, other coaching options and in-person or online arrangements.
